Sports ConnectionSports Connection is the first online sports wagering application available on both the web and smartphones. It provides access to current sports news and information, and allows fast wagering on pro and college football and basketball, as well as pro baseball, hockey, tennis, motor sports, and golf. It also permits access to the player's wager account for monitoring wagers, transfers, and current balance. And with the recently released Sports Connection Prepaid Card, transfers between the player's wager account and Discover account are now possible. All Sports Connection functions are subject to regulatory restrictions at the player's current location. |
Our Role in the Project
At the time of this project, our CTO - Chuck Berg - was employed by Station Casinos LLC, and was the Architect and Lead Developer for the second generation of Sports
Connection for the Web, and for Sports Conncetion Mobile. He directly supervised an internal development team creating web services interfacing to their proprietary
Race and Sports wagering system, wagering account system, and player authentication system. He also personally developed a service that maps geolocation to
applicable jurisdictional regulations. In addition, he supervised two outside contract organizations - one building a new web application, the other smartphone applications
for IOS and Android devices.

Project Status
Sports Connection has been approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board and has been live in production for over a year. CRB Consulting is not involved in any
current development.
